About E.S.L.
There are many schools, including my old school, where a new ESL teacher can learn the teaching of English- more specifically ESL.
They learn such valuable subjects as; reading, writing, English grammar, spelling, listening and vocabulary. Teaching the English language is not easy, as anyone teaching ESL will tell you, so we need classes, and courses, which are clear and help future teachers to prepare lesson plans.
Students, who take classes in ESL want the lessons to be easy to understand and will study hard to learn English if they are not discouraged.
A good English school, for ESL teachers, will provide the training and education to achieve the above objectives.
In order of importance, I would place the teaching of grammar as the top priority, speaking second, listening third, writing fourth, reading fifth, and spelling sixth.
There are few, if any books, with comprehensive lesson plans that guide new ESL teachers in the teaching of grammar, so that a book which fills this need is invaluable, which is why I, and many others, recommend 85 ESL Grammar Lesson Plans.
