Testimonials for Grant's Book
Feedback from teachers using 85 ESL Grammar Lesson Plans
One feature teachers appreciate is the daily reinforcement of the lessons through speaking practice in a question and answer format, and through daily homework. There is no doubt that repetition is very effective and gives students a lot of confidence.
It was also pointed out that the layout is very clear and the font size enables a teacher to lay the book on the desk and refer to the text without losing the attention of the class.
Grammar explanations were singled out for praise. When preparing grammar lesson plans a teacher normally has to refer to a grammar book and then put formal English into language that students can understand. In this book, it is not necessary because all the explanations are in language the students can understand, which saves the teacher a lot of time and effort.
Many teachers, especially new teachers, are a little apprehensive when asked to explain grammar, even if they speak English well, because it is difficult to explain grammar in the same language the students are learning. With this book, teachers need never feel apprehensive again!
Testimonial
"Grant Panter taught me English and I can tell you he is an outstanding teacher. All his lessons were extremely clear and his grammar explanations were easy to understand. When I saw this book, I remembered those lessons, and highly recommend 85 ESL Grammar Lesson Plans to any teacher of ESL."

"I began my involvement with literacy 20 years ago in my city and became qualified to teach people to read and write. I received my qualification to teach ESL a couple of years later.
The five-step program outlined in each chapter of this book is simple and easy to follow and ensures success for students as well as teachers.
I feel comfortable in saying I believe this book can also be used to teach people to read and write as well as ESL.
I wish this book had been available when I began my journey in literacy programs.
Every literacy organisation, and ESL program, should have at least one of these books in their library."
